Plaito stores the following data locally on your device only:

Photos of food (used temporarily for AI analysis)
Nutritional information (calories, proteins, fats, fibers, etc.)
Food log history with timestamps
Calorie intake per day
Personal goals
Personal information: name, age, weight, height, gender, date of birth, and preferred measurement units

2. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to:

Provide accurate food analysis results
Track your nutritional goals
Show historical logs and statistics
Personalize your experience in the app

Your data is never uploaded to our servers or shared with third parties for advertising or tracking.

3. AI and Photo Processing

When you scan food, the photo is temporarily sent to our server, which sends it to an AI model for analysis. After receiving the result, the photo is discarded and not stored on our servers or shared with third parties. No personal information is collected or linked to the user.

4. Third-Party Services

The app collects anonymous user identifiers through RevenueCat in order to manage in-app purchases and subscriptions and Firebase for analytics to improve reliability of the app. These identifiers are not linked to the user’s identity and are used solely for app functionality.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

All data is stored locally on your device. You can delete your account and erase all stored data at any time through the app settings.

Access and view your stored data
Correct or update your personal information

7. Children’s Privacy

Plaito is not intended for use by children under the age of 13, or the minimum legal age in your country of residence. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

8. Legal Basis

Plaito operates in accordance with the laws of Ukraine, and we take reasonable measures to comply with international privacy best practices.

9. Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will notify users via the app or app store page. Continued use of the app after updates constitutes acceptance.
